Jikoji Zen Retreat Center- California
Camella instructor
March 7/8 2009
In Zen we learn to pay attention. Similarly in yoga we learn to expand our awareness. Both traditions require the body to become still in order to meditate. The Soto Zen tradition is a social practice where people come together and explore learning how to pay attention. The discipline of Hatha Yoga or postures and breath control help us to pay attention to how we can become more comfortable in order to sit longer. Join us on this wonderful workshop as we come together to explore yoga posturs that benefit how we move more comfortably in the world.
We will cover;
How Hatha Yoga can enhance your meditation practice.
Opening up the primary joints.
Creating a more supple spine
Postures that help to eliminate toxins from the body/mind complex.
How to relax and restore the body and mind.
Explore improving comfort in seated posture.
Pranayama/breath control.
This workshop is open to Zen and yoga practitioners. Contact Jikoji for more details or e-mail camella.

On this very special evening he will discuss the spiritual significance of the planet Puto's movement into the zodiacal sign of Capricorn for the first time in 200 yrs. If we embrace it consciously, the subconscious energy released during this new cycle will provide a singular opportunity for powerful personal and cultural transformation.

New Facility for the Temple Of Kriya Yoga. We need to find a new larger building to continue with the demands of people who are interested in sharing and teaching in this lineage of sages. Teaching self-discipline and study in the science of self-revelation. We need $2million in order to make this happen. Please make your tax deductable donations out to The Temple of Kriya Yoga, or make enquiries as to how you can help.
All sales from "Aqua Kriya Yoga" plus the CD's "AUM" and "Gayatri", go towards this exiting venture.

Dasa will be in California once again for another enlightening weekend filled with wisdom from the kriya lineage. We will study together, meditate and practice hatha yoga in this lovely tranquil setting. Please try to secure your place with a deposit of $175 by the end of 2007.
Dreams are portals into consciousness - Doorways into your inner mind. They reveal aspects of your being that transcend everyday knowledge and experience. The study of dreams is an exploration of a mystery that leads into the depths of your subconscious and beyond. The proper understanding of your dremas and the symbols that compose them reveals the patterns at work within the subtler levels of your mind, which in turn unveils the karmic trends being activated in and around you.
This retreat is an exploration of dreams, symbols, and the sleep state as understood within the Kriya Yoga Tradition. The teachings will focus on the transformative power of symbols, ritual, and the use of dreams to develop greater self-awareness, spiritual insight, and freedom. You will learn methods for cultivating dream awareness, developing greater recall, interpreting your dreams, and using the dream state to improve your life, awaken your astral body, and soften your karma. You will also learn how the dream state relates to meditation, waking experiences, and the practice of yogic sleep.

This Sunday Evening,
join myself and Dasa for a brief discourse and participate in the powerful 'Ritual of Forgiveness'.
Spiritual growth is a maturation of the soul that requires us to take stock of the things we have thought, said or done in the past and its affect upon others. Asking for forgiveness is a way for us to learn from our mistakes and put the past behind us. Forgiving others for what we perceive they did to us is also a necessary part of emotional healing that is done at this time.
Sunday Sept 16th - reception 6.30pm
- discourse and ritual 7-9 pm
